This month, we are proud to celebrate a truly special milestone — 15 years of dedication, loyalty, and impact from Kathryn Johansen, one of the cornerstones of Hudson Outsourcing.
Kathryn was part of our journey right from the very beginning, helping with the initial planning for Hudson Outsourcing and shaping the foundations of what has since grown into a global consultancy. Over the past 15 years, she has been a loyal, committed, and invaluable member of the team, playing a central role in so many of our achievements.

Our Global CEO, Jill Hudson, paid tribute to Kathryn’s extraordinary contribution:

Leadership Across Divisions
Kathryn currently leads two of Hudson Outsourcing’s most important divisions:
- Vocal – our in-house creative agency, where she oversees branding, design, and creative strategies for clients worldwide.
- Labs – the innovation hub of Hudson Outsourcing, where she manages the development of new products, ensuring our services continue to evolve and meet client needs.
Her leadership across these areas has been central to driving innovation and creativity at Hudson Outsourcing.
Kathryn’s Best Bits
Over the past 15 years, Kathryn has been instrumental in some of Hudson Outsourcing’s biggest milestones:
- Launch of Creative Tenders and Creative RFPs.
- Launch of 11 sector-specific bidding portals.
- Supporting the launch of sub-brands such as Big Sister, Global Bid Guru, Hudson Publishing Company, and more.
- Launch of Tender VLE.
- Design and development of the revamped Discover platform into askabidwriter.com.
- Achieving the highest staff retention record in the company and becoming the longest-serving employee at Hudson Outsourcing.
